Blog Assignment #10 Blogs

This was a good experience for me, the opportunity to have written about my feeling and my thoughts  was a very unique experience. It was a good experience for communicate with my classmates. Sometimes we don't know how the other feels or what they think, but this activity was very useful for discover and understand many people that i see everyday. On the other hand, i feel that my skills to write in english are much better since i started with the blog, i read my first blogs and i see too few words. Usually, when i write about the topic for the class and i have finished, i feel very good, because i have wrote a lot of words.

I'd like to include in the future more personal questions, and more opinions about a topic. Critical thinking it's a very important skill that must be developed in the future. 

Maybe in the future i would like write about my opinions, about my perception of the world, and have some critical thinking about my reality, maybe write some opinions about photography and comment some photographs and do a little guide for the beginners in photography. Perhaps in a near future i could help with questions about photography to people who ask me, and finally have a newspaper with photographic projects, and explain its contents.

Blog Assignment #9 My apartment

I'd like to live in an apartment in the city, i dream with live in the center of the city, in a nice neighborhood,  it would be located in Chile or in other country, if i live in Chile i would like to live in providencia. I like the life of the city, everthing is near of you and you have a lot of services.

I like the urban life, i would like to have a big apartment, with a lot of space to do all what i want and to have everything that i want. For me it would be permanent, but also i would like to have a house in some paradise beach and pass some days there.

My dream home will be located near of the civilization, it's a obvious thing, because all that i want is in the civilization, but my beach home could be remote of the civilization, because that house, to me would be a house for thinking and having some of inspiration.

My dream apartment could be a very modern house, with a lot of comforts. it would have some beams in the roof, and a lot of furnishings and a wood's floor but vitrify. This apartment will have a lot of moderns things, and a nice decoration, maybe with my pictures in some walls and a nice kitchen. Imagine this apartment for me is important because it is what I look like in the future, you see me independently, living my own life, and perhaps following dreams. For me it would be an access to absolute freedom.

Blog assignment #8 My trip to Europe

I would like to go to different countries in Europe, i dream with travel through Europe and watch how they live, and see how is their culture. I would go to Sweden, and then to Austria, then to Germany, later to Netherlands, next to Finland and Norway and to the end to Sweden (maybe United Kingdom too). I chose this places because they have the highest standars of development and quality of life. I would like to learn about their cultures and how they work to build a better society, and how the government or the State act for this standards. Apart from that i would take a lot of photographs of these countries and expand my vision of the world, there are not one place of this countries that i would to see with more atention, i consider that the most amazing thing of travel is know places that we didn't know before,so, to me is more importat discover new places,  that visit the places who everybody visit. The route that i would take is the same that i mentioned above, in the same order.

Preferably i would use earth transportation, no matters if is in train or in car, or tube in the big cities. If i want to discover new places i think that plane is not a good way to travel (except if is necessary). I wouldn't have any problem if i travel alone, maybe could be useful to grow up and have a lot of stories to tell. But in other way, if i travel with someone, this could be a very unique experience, and i probably i wont feel alone, because i going to have a little piece of my country by mi side. I think that do this trip could take me a lot of months, because i want to discover new things and i want to know about the country, and if pass too fast probably i won't learn much of their culture.

Maybe in the future i could live in one of this countries, but for now i want to learn and enjoy with my family here, because Chile have a lot of things that nobody knows and a lot of beauties that nature can give us.

Blog Assignment #7 I love books

I love books

I love any kind of book, i feel books can make difference between someone who have culture and someone who haven't. For me books are the culture of countries, regardless of social interactions, book are a faithful representation of  the thought of an author about the reality in which he live or what he thinks.

I think the books are little treasures in which humanity deposited their knowledge or fantasies. To me books are important because they open a world of possibilities to people who can not access the knowledge in an educational establishment. Books help us to travel without having traveled, to open our minds and also to expand our knowledge. If people in Chile have increased access to this wonderful medium of expression, or read were more valuated in our educational system, our society certainly would be more close and careful with the world around us. If you look it from the point of view of the public, which is what keeps me studying this race, having more culture would be a great contribution to public property. People would care more items that make our lives easier and which are on public roads to make our life easier.

In my opinion Chile should have cheaper books,  read definitely should be a activity more appreciated and people really must have more respect for this medium of expression as old as human history. I really hope that in the future change this situation, because as says a phrase that i read somewhere. "Read won't make you more smarter, but it will make you less ignorant".

Blog assignment #6 Max Weber

Today i'm going to speak about Max Weber.

Weber was a politician, philosopher, economist, sociologist, that born in Erfurt, Germany in 1864, and died in Munich in 1920. He studied in the universities of  Heidelberg, Berlín y Gotinga. His character was very interesting, for being interested in society since he was young. Mainly he is most known for have been a sociologist who studied the society and the religion. 

I have to say that Weber wasn't a public administrator but one of his contributions to the science was bureaucracy, vertebral column of the State. In addition he studied the State very well, so in his studies he claimed that State has a monopoly of violence and the means of coercion, being other contribution to the political thought of the time.

Today his legacy is important in politics and in various areas of study, in which he developed ideas that link capitalism with religion and various sociological studies.

I know him because in class his name is frequently repeated for his ideas in material of State, religion or development of administration.

Blog Assignment #5

It's very difficult to me write about my favourites pictures, i feel that i have a lot of favourites in photography. This time i chose one picture that i'm proud of have taken. Maybe it's pretentious but i love my pictures and many of them are my favourites.

This picture was taken by me, i love it because the person that is in the picture is very important to me. He is a very creative person and he have big dreams. I think that he will be a very succsessful person. He have helped me many times. This picture, to me, shows the shadow of my friend, and i like it because it's a very particular shadow, it's a free shadow, and maybe represents his personality. He is a little person, but the things that he cuold be are huge, like this fish. It was taken in january in Valparaiso. I like it for the reasons i mentioned above.

Blog Assignment #4 La ciudad y los perros

My favourite book is "La ciudad y los perros" by Mario Vargas Llosa. I don't remember why i read it, but now i'm thinking about it, maybe it was because my brother was reading it and he recommended it to me. The book tells a wonderful story, it's not so complex but require to be careful with any of its texts to understand the whole book.

Broadly the book tells us the story of three young that live in Lima, Perú. They are so different, one of them is from a high middle class, the other is very poor and wretched, and the third is so unhappy and his family is very dysfunctional. They have in common that were admitted in a paramilitary school. Their stories crash in this school and happen a lot of interesting things.

I like it because talks about a reality that is very shocking, i'm talking about poverty, discrimination and a lot of expectations that society demand us. This book have a lot of surprises according as the things happen, so i really enjoyed it.
I recommend it for all people who love interesting stories and want to read an excellent book. If you're looking for a new book, this would be the indicated.
